When a novel is ready to go out, agents read two things first: a query letter and a one-page synopsis. The submission package helps you sharpen both, and gives you a free, factual read of your opening pages. As everywhere in Oghmere, it coaches — it never writes the letter for you. An agent can spot a generated query at a glance, and the writer who sends one has been badly served.

The first-50-pages audit

The audit is a deterministic read of your opening — the pages an agent actually reads before deciding. It reports positions and comparisons, never a grade or a verdict: where the first 50 pages land and what has happened by then, how the opening’s dialogue-to-narrative balance compares with the rest of the book, what point of view and tense the first chapter establishes and how consistently, where your chosen structure’s first turn is expected to fall, and how the first chapter’s length sits against your average.

• Add a query letter or synopsis — from the novel’s document menu. Each captures your target agent or market, comparable titles, hook, and stakes as you set it up.
• Ask the coach — to read what you have drafted. It asks the questions an agent’s first reader would ask and names what your draft actually does — it never adds sentences, hooks, or comp titles for you to paste.
• A project with no structure template still gets an audit — it reads against the assumed three-act shape and says so.
