Staging Note is a document type in the Stage Play content type. Open the Stage Play page to see every document type it offers.
The stages it moves through
Every document moves through the same shape: Ideation, Outline, Draft, Revision, Final edit. After Ideation you can move back and forth freely — jump to whichever stage the work needs.
On top of that shared shape, this document type adds its own stages:
- Blocking Pass — an extra stage this document type adds after Draft.
Because it is a planning or reference document rather than a polished draft, it skips Revision and Final edit — the machine reconnects around the gap so you still move cleanly from stage to stage.
